John Smoltz

CSE started representing John Smoltz in 1991 and has guided his career as a professional athlete with the Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals. A 21-year veteran, Smoltz helped lead the Atlanta Braves to 14 consecutive division titles from 1991-2005 and a World Series title in 1995, while becoming the only pitcher in Major League history to record more than 200 wins and 150 saves over the course of his career.
Broadcaster
Following his retirement after the 2009 season, CSE helped Smoltz transition into a new role as a color commentator and television analyst. In December of 2015, he was added to the lead broadcast team for FOX Sports’ coverage of Major League Baseball, which includes the Saturday Game of the Week and World Series broadcasts. Smoltz also works as an analyst for MLB Network.

CSE has worked with Smoltz over the years to build his personal brand and maximize marketing opportunities for him. We have secured a multitude of deals and speaking engagements with brands including Delta, AT&T, Cologuard, Panini, Topps, and FCA, among others. Smoltz is a highly sought-after speaker who shares great stories about his life, testimony, and career. Other Endeavors
Our CSE team connects with clients on a personal level, helping however we can in their goals away from the lights and cameras. With Smoltz, CSE has been in lockstep with his passion for golf—where he earned a spot in the US Senior Open in 2018 and played in three PGA TOUR Champions events in 2019—and his desire to help others through his charitable foundation. Wherever possible, we offer our expertise and guidance while also looking for organic ways to use Smoltz’s other ambitions to further build his brand.
