January 4, 2016 – CSE client Stephen Nelson and Talent Marketing Executive Mark Burns were named to the 2016 Forbes’ 30 Under 30 on Monday, January 4.
The list is comprised of athletes, professionals and innovators who are transforming the sports industry landscape. The leaders chosen for this year’s list were vetted by a panel of experts including NBA superstar Carmelo Anthony, Los Angeles Clippers’ owner Steve Ballmer and Delaware North’s Boston Holdings’ CEO Charlie Jacobs.
Nelson (26) is a broadcasting client of CSE and is currently a reporter for Bleacher Report, one of the leading sports-media outlets. Nelson has become the face of Team Stream Now, Bleacher Report’s breaking news video series. Nelson worked as a sports reporter/anchor at KEZI-TV in Eugene, Ore. prior to joining Bleacher Report. Nelson is represented by CSE’s Traci Wilkes Smith.
Burns (27) is a Talent Marketing Executive for CSE’s Talent Representation Department, where he secures marketing and endorsement opportunities for CSE’s roster of over 200 clients including baseball players, professional and collegiate basketball coaches, management and news and sports media. Burns received his J.D. from Belmont University after graduating from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in history and minors in political science and crime and justice.
